PS3 Hacked... Until Just Recentlyposted Sep 9th 2010, 1:59PM

Firstly, hello there. Miss me? Sure you have! Maybe, most of you, not so much, but I digress.
Yes, the PS3 WAS kinda hacked... until a firmware (will be known as FW from here on) update fixed that. It wasn't a software hack (like how the PSP was cracked), but more of a hardware thang. It was a USB dongle dubbed as the "PS Jailbreak", and what it was able to do was install unsigned code onto the PS3 HDD and all it was able to do was back-up your PS3 games onto the HDD. Because of that process, you could play your games off your PS3 HDD. But this was just one event; the PS3 is still virtually UNCRACKABLE, and UNHACKABLE. A hacker known as GeoHot tried, and failed. The PS3 is quite a piece of technology, isn't it?
